Take a "stroll" through campus by going on the virtual Brockman Memorial Tree Tour and learn about the wide variety of trees found at UW. Want to see the trees up close? Take your cell phone, access the tour's webpage and see UW's living botanical collection for yourself.

The tour is dedicated to the memory of Professor C. Frank Brockman, former Forest Resources faculty and creator of the original tour in 1980. The tour has since been adapted to an online version, including a Google Map featuring satellite imagery.

Since before the turn of the century, forestry professors, botanists, gardeners and landscape architects have planted trees for decoration and education purposes. Now, there are about 480 different kinds of trees planted on campus, ranging anywhere from cedar to elm and maple. What are you waiting for?
