UW Sustainability's "In Our Nature" podcast's latest episode goes in-depth on Energy Conservation at the University of Washington with Norm Menter, the Assistant Director for Energy, Utilities and Operations with UW Facilities. Since 2013, Norm has managed the UW's Energy Conservation program.

The UW Sustainability's "In Our Nature" podcast has been re-launched. The latest episode is a discussion with our new director Lisa Dulude. Lisa joined the UW Sustainability office in May 2022. Prior to starting at UW, she served for 12 years as the Energy and Sustainability Manager for Snohomish County. In this episode, Lisa talks about her sustainability background, some of the big sustainability opportunities at UW and ways for students, faculty and staff to get involved.

Adam Fehn is a Program Coordinator for UW Recycling. He took a personal challenge to go plastic-free during the month of July.

UW Program on the Environment lecturer (and Husky Green Award winner) Elizabeth Wheat sat down with UW Sustainability's Jayna Milan for the latest episode of the "In Our Nature" podcast. 

The latest episode of the "In Our Nature" podcast features Campus Sustainability Fund (CSF) coordinator Kyle McDermott. The CSF provides grants to student-driven sustainability projects at UW, and has granted more than $2.2 million to over 100 projects since it started in 2010.

On this podcast episode, Kyle talks about some of the projects around campus that were funded by the CSF, how students can make their own idea a reality by using CSF grants, and other ways for students to get involved.

There's a little-known space in the HUB, all the way to the back of the ASUW offices. There, you'll find a tiny room with crates full of dried fruits, granola, green lentils, and tea lining the walls, soft music playing in the background, and friendly staff asking, "How has your day been going?"
