Join us for the 2021 UW Sustainability Fair on the main floor of the HUB to celebrate sustainability efforts across the University of Washington. UW departments and students groups will be on hand to discuss their sustainability efforts and how you can get involved. You'll also be able to learn more about the UW's Sustainability Action Plan, which guides our sustainability actions.

Help shape the UW​'s​ professional travel policies by taking a short survey

UW Sustainability has been working on achieving Target 5 of the UW Sustainability Action Plan: Reducing carbon emissions from air travel five percent by 2025. A working group of faculty, staff and students representing environmental science, political science, public service, procurement, and other departments and disciplines meet regularly to work towards this goal.

Hey! I'm Leena, the new UW Sustainability Graphic Designer.  I will be going into my senior year at UW, finishing up a double degree in Marketing and Interdisciplinary Visual Arts.  I'm passionate about accessible and inclusive visual communication, and have the main aim of creating spaces for conversation and vulnerability in my work.  After graduation, I'm hoping to pursue a career in visual design that allows me to combine my fields of study and solve problems with business thinking rooted in creativity.
