UW Energy Transformation Student Taskforce Kickoff

The University of Washington is starting the process of transforming and decarbonizing our energy system, and we want student voices to help guide the process.

UW Facilities, UW Sustainability and the Campus Sustainability Fund are organizing an Energy Transformation Student Task Force as a way to inform students about the project and get input. All students are invited to join the inagural meeting on Monday, November 28 at 4 p.m. This will be a virtual meeting on Zoom, and will be led by Dave Woodson, Executive Director of Campus Energy, Utilities & Operations.

All students are invited to join this initial meeting of the Energy Transformation Student Task Force. Learn more about our plans for decarbonization and how you can engage with the process.

If you would like to join other students in person for the event, the Campus Sustainability Fund will be hosting a "watch party" for the meeting in the UW Sustainability office, Gerberding Hall room B40. The meeting will also be recorded and the presentation will be posted online after the event.
