One Thing Challenge

If you're a UW student living in a residence hall, we need your help this weekend!

The annual One Thing Challenge is a competition between UW and Washington State University to see which campus is committed to being the greenest. The school with the most participants will gain bragging rights and the ceremonial awarding of the One Thing Cup - a trophy made from recycled materials.

CHOSE ONE THING:

EcoReps Clothing Swap

Wednesday, Nov. 19, join EcoReps for a clothing exchange available to all UW students!

Have some T-shirts or clothes sitting in your closet that you never wear? Donate them to EcoReps and pick out some new-to-you clothes! Find EcoReps on the 17th Avenue median in front of 45th Street from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

T-shirts, sweatshirts, blouses, pants, shorts, shoes, hats, scarves - come drop off anything you don't want and in return you can have whatever is donated!

Keep in mind:

Apply for RecycleMania 2015 Planning Committee

Want to help reduce waste at UW? Apply to join the RecycleMania Student Planning Committee!

The University of Washington competes for national recognition in RecycleMania, a tournament in which college campuses compete to see which can recycle and compost the most campus waste. The Student Planning Committee works directly with UW Recycling to guide the campaign, lead activities and pilot projects to reduce campus waste and help UW move to the top of the rankings!
