Introduction to Cultural Sustainability Map

The Sustainability Office here on campus is developing a Cultural Sustainability Map that illustrates the location of various cultural centers on campus and summarizes some of their main resources. The idea for this map was coined from Portland State University’s Campus Sustainability Tour Map. This map will help inform students of available centers on campus that support culture and value diversity. The overarching goal of this map is to motivate students to increase their knowledge of cultures represented on campus and eventually expand their perspective of the campus community. In addition to creating a map we will post a few blogs expanding on some of the cultural centers listed on the Cultural Sustainability Map. Giving these cultural centers media representation in the blog will hopefully open doors for more students to become active participants on campus and help some students find an identity in the community.
