UW Sustainability has been working on achieving Target 5 of the UW Sustainability Action Plan: Reducing carbon emissions from air travel five percent by 2025. A working group of faculty, staff and students representing environmental science, political science, public service, procurement, and other departments and disciplines meet regularly to work towards this goal.
UW Sustainability is working to connect with an even broader audience to better understand attitudes towards travel, carbon offsets, and remote conferencing. Our short, 20-25 question survey will be a pulse check among the campus community after over a year of working under significantly different conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please complete this 10 minute survey by October 15, 2021 if you are employed by the University of Washington. Your responses will help shape the UW's approach to professional travel as we emerge from the pandemic.
