Wednesday, April 29
- UW Farm Volunteer hours (Mercer Court, 1:30 p.m.-5 p.m.)
- SEFS Spring 2015 Seminar Series. Come listen to speaker Warren Cohen a Research Forester with the U.S. Forest Service (Anderson Hall 223, 3:30 p.m.)
- The University of Washington Tacoma is hosting a free screening of "Return of the River," an award-winning documentary about the Elwha River and the largest dam removal project in U.S. history. (UW Tacoma Joy Building room 117, 6:35 p.m.)
Thursday, April 30
- The 6th annual GoGreen Seattle Conference, is a one-day, interactive learning experience featuring tactical how-tos, a solutions-centered deep dive into new ways of thinking, and a showcase of regional business leaders and their success stories. (Washington State Convention Center, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.)
- Farm education at the UW Farm. Join us for an hour of discussion and learning about various topics related to farming: from plant families and soil health, to the business of farming, tool maintenance and repair, and season extension… and everything in between! This weeks topic, soil-plant relationships: which plants grow best on different soil types (Botany Greenhouse, 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.)
- Come by the Campus Sustainability Fund table in Suzzallo Cafe for their drop-in office hours! (12:00-1:00 p.m.)
- Come listen to Adrian Stier and Estuarine Faculty Search Candidate speak about Ecology and Conservation in Nearshore Ecosystems (Fishery Sciences 102, 4 p.m.)
