The City of Seattle's Office of Sustainability and Environment is accepting applications for the city's Environmental Justice Fund through September 16. Grants of up to $75,000 are available to nonprofit organizations and community groups working to advance environmental justice and respond to the impacts of climate change. The fund supports projects whose beneficiaries or leadership include those most impacted by environmental and climate inequities, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, immigrants, refugees, people with low incomes, young people, and the elderly.
