It's time for Bike Everywhere Month! May is a great time to break out the bicycles and celebrate biking. UW Transportation Services has several events happening throughout the month, and everyone is encouraged to join the Bike Everywhere Challenge and track your rides throughout the month.
Bike Everywhere Challenge
The 2018 Bike Everywhere Challenge, organized by Washington Bikes, is a challenge for new and experienced riders alike. Register online and track your rides throughout the month of May for a chance at prizes (and the satisfaction of spending time on your bike). You can join as a solo rider or with a team of up to 10 people. You receive points for each ride you take throughout the month and for encouraging other people to ride as well. Learn more on the challenge website.
Take the 2018 Campus Bicycle Survey
UW Transportation Services is gathering information on how they can make UW a great place to arrive by bike. They want to hear from everyone - people who currently don’t ride at all, people who commute by bike every day and everyone in between. Complete the survey by May 31 and you will be entered to win a $100, $50 or one of two $25 REI gift cards.
