Are you a student looking to foster your global citizenship and enhance your diplomatic skills? Apply to participate in the Undergraduate Leaders’ Program hosted by Universidad de Chile in Santiago, Chile from July 20 to August 2, 2025!

The Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) Undergraduate Leaders’ Program offers the chance for UW students to participate in a two-week long experience designed to provide them with a deep understanding of the Pacific Rim's complex political, economic, social, and cultural dynamics, particularly emphasizing the Latin American perspective.

Participants will:

  • Engage in workshops, UN simulation models, and excursions to international organizations.
  • Celebrate and discuss cultural diversity, highlighting the importance of inclusion and mutual respect in global diplomacy.
  • Enhance their diplomatic skills but also establish lasting connections with peers and experts, preparing them to influence and contribute to policy-making on the Pacific Rim stage.

UW can nominate up to five candidates for the program, who will then be invited to apply via a form on APRU’s website. This program is open to full-time undergraduate students, who have completed at least one year of studies.
