If you're moving out or doing a deep clean of your north campus housing at the end of the Summer, UW Recycling is hosting a Husky Neighborhood Cleanup. All students can stop by the cleanup station to drop off recycling (including scrap metal and painted or unpainted wood) or items in poor conditions, including mattresses and furniture.

The cleanup dates will be Thursday, August 31; Monday, Sept. 25 and Tuesday, Sept. 26. The station will be at 17th Ave NE & NE 47th St. from 1-5 p.m. each day (or until the trucks are full). A UW student ID card is required to drop off items.

If you aren't able to make it to one of the Husky Neighborhood Cleanup times, don't leave your unwanted or bulky items on the street! Goodwill and other area organizations will take reusable items for donation, and you can contact Seattle Public Utilities for bulky trash pick-up. You can also drop off trash and large recyclables at the North Transfer Station

If you have any questions, contact UW Recycling at recycle@uw.edu
