The Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) is holding holding their summer undergraduate leadership program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong this summer from June 25 to July 6. The theme for this year is "Leadership for Sustainable Cities Development."

The University of Washington is able to nominate five students for this opportunity. Please fill out the internal application form by Wednesday, March 1st. There are a few scholarships available for strong applicants.

The purpose of the leadership program is to empower students to become changemakers in pursuit of building sustainable, safe, resilient and inclusive cities. Students will learn to apply design thinking principles to develop innovative and human-centered solutions to complex issues of sustainability using case studies from Hong Kong and around the world.
